With over twenty years of experience in experiential marketing, special event production, and content, Michael Ferguson has handled the intricacies and challenges of connecting brands to consumers by creating, developing, and producing high-profile experiential events and content for premier Fortune 500 companies.
As principal and Senior Executive Producer for OmniSource Events, LLC., Michael successfully leverages his understanding of consumer and creative insights by developing large-scale event programming featuring some of the most popular names in entertainment.
As a project/production manager, he has been directly responsible for technical production and design including the construction and installation of staging, sound reinforcement, lighting, and venues. He expanded the firm's offering to include experiential marketing, communications, content production, and live event programs for a vast array of clients.
His early credits include eight years as Music Director for Atlantic recording artist LeVert on numerous national concert tours. He left LeVert in 1991 and began his entertainment marketing career as a marketing representative for experiential marketing agency GMR Marketing on the Luther Vandross “Power of Love Tour” for Miller Brewing Company’s 25 million dollar music marketing campaign that also included artist ZZ Top, Rod Stewart, and Clint Black.
Michael toured with comedian Sinbad and in 1995 worked with him on the production of the HBO Sinbad 70’s Soul Music Festivals in St Maarten, Aruba, and Jamaica featuring performances by numerous prominent artists from that era artist including The O’Jays, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Isley Brothers, Gladys Knight, Teena Marie, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers and War to name a few.

Among his notable achievements, Michael served as a consultant for the Green Concert featuring Sir Paul McCartney, a landmark event that combined world-class entertainment with a commitment to environmental sustainability. Held in the heart of Atlanta’s iconic urban park, the concert drew tens of thousands of fans for a night of timeless Beatles classics, Wings hits, and McCartney’s solo masterpieces.
In 2010 he was contracted to become production manager for The Richmond Jazz and Music Festival at Maymont Park, a two-stage two-day music festival and one of the most prominent music festivals in the region attracting thousands of attendees and featuring an impressive lineup of national and international artists across jazz, R&B, soul, and other genres with performance over the years by notable artists including Chaka Khan, Jill Scott, Big Boi, and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Fantasia, Ludacris, Wyclef Jean (Artist in Residence) St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Andra Day.
His expertise in event strategy and execution ensures that each project he undertakes is impactful, seamlessly organized, and aligned with its mission, whether it’s creating unforgettable experiences or advancing important causes.
